An Alien Buddhist Anthology

I’m delighted to announce that a few verses from Kings & Saints & Knights of have been selected by my editors for the Alien Buddha Zine #58.

It’s a great place to check out the very best contemporary writing; especially if you haven’t read my book yet, and want to know my opinions on actors, audiences, cats, fish, hot-buttered rum, Instagram, photography, snow, snow ploughs, stages, suburban sprawl, wild animals, and Amy Winehouse — and I know you do.

It will hit the stands (or at least the interwebs) December 30th.

The First Shipment Is In!

Yesterday when I got home some advanced copies of my new book were waiting for me. It’s more than a little odd. Once my poems were collected into a book they looked like everybody else’s — and not at all like the messy pile of hand-written drafts that they started out as. I guess that that’s a weird consequence of having such a beautiful and singular-looking first book.

But it’s such a joy to have them done. They are not only ready for the world they are on their way (and available to the public November 11th).

I know you want a copy. Just be patient.

Book Announcement!

Hello Everyone,

I’d like to introduce my new book Kings, & Saints, & Knights, which will be released November 11th. It’s a book of poetry — mainly about hanging around town, people watching, and putting into words what otherwise would have gone unnoticed.

I realize that a book of verse being published in 2023 is entering a small market — especially since this is definitely not an academic book — but it is something that I’ve put a lot of work into and it is something that I am quite proud of.
